I delight in how whimsical imagination can be.
I pull images from my mind and make them tangible,
anticipating your imagination will come out to play.
I marvel at how imagination can be applied to reality,
to see more clearly, to solve problems, to inspire.
Exercise imagination, until impossible is no longer reality.
I grew up in art studios, libraries, and computer labs. My work history is full of photography, art and design. I have a BFA in Digital Design and MAED in Art Education. I have taught a variety of art classes over the years to all ages. It never ceases to amaze me how closely related the disciplines are, which explains my love of mixed media. I love how there is always more to learn, more techniques to apply in new ways. I recently joined the Omaha Maker Group to explore incorporating more STEM into my art, and while I don't yet know where this path is leading, I am thoroughly fascinated by the possibilities. The only impossibility in this world, that I can conceive, is to stop learning.
